ZOOM COURT: IS MY COURT DATE ON ZOOM?
Criminal & traffic court dates used to be only in person. But now, some courts allow you to attend court online, instead of showing up in person. Every courthouse location and every courtroom is different. Some locations will allow Zoom, some never allow Zoom, and some allow you to choose whichever you'd prefer.
Here are some court links to help you determine whether Zoom applies to your case. Many of these also provide the actual Zoom Codes and Passwords you'll need to enter the Zoom room. Remember that courts sometimes change their codes though, so it's always your responsibility to confirm with your attorney (or the court clerk) whether these codes are still correct:

ZOOM COURT TIPS
- Sign in to Zoom at least 5 minutes before your court-time
- If it says "Waiting for Host" just be patient - The Judge will let you in soon
- Casual dress or work clothing is completely acceptable
- Turn on your video
- Turn off (mute) your audio
- Turn on your audio ONLY when asked
- Make sure to type your name so it appears under your image
- Do not do or say anything illegal, immoral or distasteful
- Do not appear shirtless or while in the bathroom
- Do not Zoom while you are driving (especially if your license is invalid)
- Do not eat, drink or smoke while on Zoom
- Sit up while on Zoom. Do not lay down on a couch or bed
- Pay attention and listen for your name to be called
- Avoid speaking to other people at your location
