The Maywood Courthouse can be found at 1500 Maybrook Drive in Maywood, just minutes from the Eisenhower Expressway. Free parking in a lot outside the courthouse is available but try to get there early to make sure you find a space to park and to allow extra time for the metal detector line. Many types of cases are heard at the Maywood Courthouse (also known at the Fourth District Cook County Court) which Include felonies, misdemeanors, traffic tickets, as well as various local ordinance violations.

Although most judges do accept plea negotiation deals, that’s not always the case. A judge has complete discretion to accept or reject the proposed deal. Of the judge may agree to accept the negotiation but only under certain conditions, which might include a longer sentence, extra community service, enhanced fines or such.
